In this tutorial I will be discussing about how to dual boot both Windows and Ubuntu in your computer.  Steps to dual boot Windows and Ubuntu :   Follow the below steps to dual boot with Windows and Ubuntu .Ubuntu provides a Wubi which is a windows installer for Ubuntu desktop . 1. First visit Ubuntu website to download wubi here. 2. Click on Get the installer as shown below. 3. Now it shows you to pay $2 for each column as shown below . 3. Change this to $ 0 by just sliding the bar to left and finally it appears as shown below . Now click Download and file will be downloaded fast as its size is 2.4 MB. 4. After downloading the file , double click on wubi.exe and a pop-up arises asking for permission click Yes.   5. Next a Ubuntu installer appears and   now select the drive to install it , select installation size by default it gives 18GB , select environment as Ubuntu and finally set your username and password to login as in windows . If you feel any difficult then it appears as shown below .  6. Then click Install and it takes about 15-20 min to install the Ubuntu OS into your Computer . 7. Once it gets installed Select on Reboot now and click finish (Now it gets restarted ).   8. After restarting the PC or Laptop you will find screen like this. 9. Select Ubuntu by using down or up arrow in your keyboard and click Enter .   10. Then the following screen appears , select Ubuntu ,Linux -generic 1st option from the 3 options using arrows from your keyboard. 11. Again it installs the main components required and packages. This might take a few minutes .   12. Next you will notice a Login screen asking user name and password , Type the username and password which you have selected above . Now you're done, click login and you will get a good interfaced Ubuntu Desktop.  Enjoy....

பேஸ்புக்கில் தமிழில் எழுத ஈசியான Softwere

இன்று பேஸ்புக்  மொபைல், லேப்டாப், கம்ப்யூட்டரில் என அனைவராலும் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது. லேப்டாப், கம்ப்யூட்டரில் பேஸ்புக் ஸ்டேடஸ் தமிழில் டைப் செய்ய பல சாப்ட்வேர் இருந்தாலும் கூகிள் தரும் கூகிள் தமிழ் இன்புட் (google tamil input) என்ற சாப்ட்வேர் பயன்படுத்த மிக எளிமையாக இருக்கும்.

எவ்வாறு இன்ஸ்டால் செய்வது?

முதலில் இந்த பக்கத்தை ஓபன் செய்து அதில் தமிழ் என்பதை செலக்ட் செய்து, I agree என்ற கட்டத்தையும் செலக்ட் செய்ய வேண்டும்.

பின்னர் download என்பதை க்ளிக் செய்தால் கம்ப்யூட்டரில் ஒரு file download ஆகும்

Download செய்த file-ஐ இன்ஸ்டால் செய்ய வேண்டும். 

இன்ஸ்டால் செய்த பின்  task bar - இல் right clik செய்து முதலாக உள்ள toolbars-ஐ க்ளிக் செய்து அங்கே காட்டும் language bar-இல் க்ளிக் செய்யவும்.

க்ளிக் செய்தால் computer Task bar-இல் வலது பக்கம் நேரம், தேதி காட்டும் இடத்திற்கு அருகில் EN என்ற ஐக்கான் இருக்கும். இந்த ஐகான் இருந்தால் google tamil input கம்ப்யூட்டரில் இன்ஸ்டால் ஆகிவிட்டது என அறியலாம்.

EN என்பதை க்ளிக் செய்தால் மேலே படத்தில் உள்ளவாறு ஓபன் ஆகும். அதில், EN English (United states), TA Tamil (India) எனவும் இருக்கும். அதில் டிக் மார்க் EN - இல் இருப்பதால் டைப் செய்தால் ஆங்கிலத்தில் எழுத்துக்கள் வரும். எனவே தமிழ் மொழி வர வேண்டும் என்பதால் நாம் TA என்பதை டிக் மார்க் செய்ய வேண்டும். 

டிக் மார்க் செய்தால் taskbar மேலே கீழேபடத்தில் உள்ளது போல ஒரு bar தோன்றும்.

பின்னர் டைப் செய்ய வேண்டிய இடத்தில், தமிழ் மொழி வாக்கியத்தின் உச்சரிப்பு ஒலிக்கு ஏற்ப ஆங்கில எழுத்துகளை டைப் செய்ய வேண்டும். உதாரணமாக, "வணக்கம்" என தமிழில் டைப் செய்ய வேண்டுமெனில், "vanakkam" என டைப் செய்து spacebar button-ஐ ஒரு அழுத்து அழுத்தினால் தமிழில் வணக்கம் என தோன்றும்.

மேலும் ஆங்கிலத்தில் டைப் செய்யும் பொது அந்த உச்சரிப்பு ஒலிக்கு தொடர்புடைய மற்ற தமிழ் வார்த்தைகளும் அடுத்தடுத்து காட்டும். இங்கே கீழே படத்தில் பாருங்களேன், "காட்டும்" என்பதற்கு kaattum என டைப் செய்யாமல் katum என தவறாக டைப் செய்ததால் கட்டும் என்று முதலில் காட்டுகிறது. ஆனால் மூன்றாவதாக "காட்டும்" என இருப்பதால் நான் மவுஸ் மூலம் மூன்றாவதை தேர்வு செய்தேன்.

இவ்வாறு நாம் தேவையான தமிழ் வாக்கியத்தை தேர்வு செய்யலாம். இவ்வாறு தமிழ் உச்சரிப்பு ஒலிக்கேற்ப ஆங்கில எழுத்துகளை டைப் செய்வதன் மூலம் தமிழ் வார்த்தைகளை பெறலாம்.

குறிப்பு:

1. மிக முக்கியமாக இதன் மூலம் இணைய தொடர்பு இல்லாத சமயத்திலும் தமிழில் எழுதலாம். 

2. MS OFFICE, NOTEPAD, BLOG, EMAIL, TWITTER என எதில் வேண்டுமானாலும் எளிதாக பயன்படுத்தலாம்.

3. Control பட்டனையும் G பட்டனையும் (Ctrl+G) அழுத்தினால் ஆங்கிலத்தில் இருந்து தமிழுக்கும், தமிழில் இருந்து ஆங்கிலத்திற்கும் எளிதாக மாற்றி எழுதலாம்,

From the Unfriend Finder layout, one filter and one link to access settings.

From Settings Menu
A settings link is available from the Right box.

Once clicked, links bring you to the configuration page. 
This is the panel where you will be able to change script configuration. 

You can change some settings: 
- Appareance, Display settings, and Behavior, 
- Notifications 
- Language 
- Reset Values

Settings 
Use them like the Facebook settings.

This panel is where you will make all your changes to the script. 
The Google Search, and Backup tool were removed. 
GoogleSearch was unused since the script stored informations of friends in a dedicated database on you computer, no information is lost. 
The backup tool is replaced by the "Import / Export data" feature.

Appeareance, Display and Behavior

Appearance
Some options to enable / disable features like notifications, and change the behavior of the script.

The main settings panel. In here, you will be able to enable or disable the main features of the script.
The first four checks will affect the display of profiles in lists.
The Notifications checks will enable / disable notifications corresponding.

"Hide friends that your remove" will not show the unfriended profile as "Unfriend".
"Show unfriends check dates" will display the time when the unfriend was detected. (Not when people unfriended you)

Languages

Language
You can to use the script choose among 65 translations made by the community.

Choose the language you want to use by checking the left radio corresponding to the locale language name.
When checked, the page will refresh with the new language.
Changing the language of the script won't affect your Facebook language.
You can use Facebook in English and use Unfriend Finder in French. 

Reset data

Settings
Resetting data allows you to prevent some script issues, or to clean up your lists easily.

Select the values you want to reset (Two links allows you to select all or no checks), then click "Reset".
Validate the confirmation popup, and the page will refresh. Your selected data is set by default.
